What HomeShieldIQ is

HomeShieldIQ is a free tool from Million-Dollar Window Cleaning that gives homeowners an Exterior Health Score, a seasonal maintenance plan, and a photo log for their home. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Information we collect

Account information: if you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (handled securely by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your raw password).
Home & assessment data: the home details and answers you provide during the assessment (home type, age, climate, and your answers about windows, gutters, roof, siding, driveway, and lawn), plus the scores calculated from them.
Photos: photos you add to your account are stored locally on the device you took them on. They are not currently uploaded to our servers or visible on other devices.
Quote requests: if you submit a "Find a Pro" request, we store the category and any notes you add.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the app: calculating your score, building your maintenance plan, letting you log in from different devices, and (if you're a Million-Dollar Window Cleaning customer) matching your account so we can keep your service history connected. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Where your data lives

Account and assessment data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore), a cloud infrastructure provider. Firebase is also used to host this app. Google may process this data on our behalf under its own data processing terms, but we do not grant Google or any other third party rights to use your data beyond providing this service.

Your choices

You can review and update your home details at any time from the Profile tab.
You can delete a saved photo or quote request individually.
You can permanently erase all of your HomeShieldIQ data — scores, tasks, quote requests, and photos — from the Profile tab using "Reset App Data."
You can request that we delete your account entirely by contacting us.

Children's privacy

HomeShieldIQ is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
